I had this thought when he bought that house and he told some reporter that traffic didn't bother him cause he had lived in LA.
I don’t think he would do this unless he was looking for something closer. Not a good look if intentions were to leave and Chris seems smart enough to know not to do that.
Why do this now before a crucial game 4 ? He had to tell the team his intentions so it won't be a distraction .
Maybe this is a controversial opinion but I might be ok with Cp3 leaving. He has definitely been great this season but his personality is the kind that can rub people the wrong way eventually...I remember Blake Griffin was crying with excitement when Paul first joined the Clipps a couple years later he was celebrating and even signed a long term deal when Paul left. The bigger issue though is Paul is 32 and he ain't a Lebron. He might become injiry prone a couple of years down the line. The Rox have already made a statement as a GSW "alternative" IMHO, I would be ok with getting a younger star who is closer to Harden's age like Paul George this year or Devin Booker next year.
