I've always wondered if this was the same question as 'what are your top 5 albums of all-time'? I think they're two different questions - if I was on a desert island, I may want some more upbeat stuff to cheer me up. Also, I may take albums with longer songs or more songs on them, since I would only be limited to 5 selections. That way, I get more to listen to, thus helping to break the monotony.
Tool - Aenima Converge - Jane Doe Faith No More - Album of the Year Radiohead - OK Computer Meshuggah - Nothing
Would there be electricity on this desert island so we could play said CDs or are we just taking them with us for the cool album art?
This was slightly different from top 5 albums for me, because I would take some more diverse music(No 2 albums from the same artist), and I also tried to take albums that were significant to the history of rock(Alright...BTCS may not be...yet, but it should be).
