He has that combination of being photogenic, eleqount and has no issue with saying hot takes. It's that last part that keeps him on air. In other words "click bait".
Haven't seen any updates in a few days, but I did add Elhassan. At this point... Harden has gotten 86% of the votes we know about. LeBron has gotten 14%. Harden needs just 30% of the remaining votes to win. LeBron needs 72%. It's looking really likely for Harden.
Probably one of the quietest mvp winner. Shows show how much harden dominated this season or how much da media dislike da beard.
There's no "right" group to vote. I know this is anti-cool right now, but the media gets it more right than they are given credit for in all sports. I'd have gone Harden over Curry and Westbrook, but I can acknowledge that they were super tight races. No crime against humanity that those happened. Baseball gave the gold glove to managers/players and they give those awards to TERRIBLE candidates.
I looooove how the media is just like, "It pains me to vote for Harden" or "I feel sorry for Lebron" or "He travels but still the MVP". Media is salty but they can't not vote for Harden and retain credibility. The only ones that won't are LeBron blowhards that since they hate Harden so much are happy to give Lebron an undeserved vote when he hasn't been MVP worthy, the same ones that don't care about objectivity and are joke journalists to start with.
ESPN’s Royce Young unfortunately has a vote. Not sure who he voted for but I’m assuming it was: 1) Westbrick 2) PG 3) Adams 4) Melo 5) Brewer
To the general human population, yes he is. Are you surrounded by models 24/7 or something? Or are you that insecure?
You are right, these days the media is everywhere. Too much control. Can't probably live without them either.
Seems a bit unnecessary to insult me over a difference of opinion, but I'll give you a break as a fellow Rockets fan.
I gotta agree with @ClutchCityReturns. I wouldn't call him photogenic. Maybe above average for his age but that doesn't equate with photogenic.
You could do a weighted system: 40% coaches (anonymous) 40% players (anonymous) 20% media (public) Media still gets to feel good about having a say, but their opinions matter less than the people in the league.
