He's gone, last night COD currently unknown.. http://news3lv.com/news/local/radio-host-art-bell-dies-at-72-in-pahrump-home
I used to listen to Coast to Coast on Friday nights after work - some really interesting stuff. I always imagined it was agent Mulders favorite radio show..And ToyCen’s too of course
I discovered coast to coast accidentally after falling asleep during an astros broadcast back in the day, when I woke up they were talking about shadow people and it wasn't Jeff Kent. I instantly became a fan of the show.
I started back in the mid 90's listening to Art, went through the whole Hale-Bop saga and death cult. Strange times, indeed..
He will be missed. I found Coast to Coast after a night of partying in the early 2000s. Been a fan ever since. Always wondered how he could stay so serious after some of the calls.
Used to listen to C2C religiously in the 90’s. Wish I had time to listen still, I like George Noory as well. RIP Art.
Art bell had me pretty concerned about ebola in the 90s. I remember him saying it was spreading village to village and woukd hit usa in a few weeks. Y2k titor and of course buried alien embryos on mars. Rest in peace
I used to listen to him. It was fascinating. Chupacabras and aliens using the Hale-Bopp Comet. Haha I think I recall he once had this guy on named Dannion Brinkley who had been struck by lightning twice and claimed to have visions of the future. RIP
The reverse speech guy was taking too far! Remote viewing topic was very interesting, also having Al Belik on was eye opening..
RIP Art. I got hooked on his show back in the 90's while driving home from late night gigs. He really had me concerned about chemtrails at the time. Pure greatness.
The great Phil Hendrie used to do a parody of Art's show that was just spot on. I know Art himself was a fan and got a huge kick out of it. Listen below:
610 back in the day...after the Stros...after Arnie Spanier...(then I think there was another sports guy) then there was the Coast to Coast. I would wake up randomly, or be up too late, or wake up way too early, and his show was great stuff.
Damn. Anyway, yeah I would find myself listening to this late at night when I couldn’t sleep. The callers would crack me up with their ****. I never understood why there were two phone numbers. West of the Rockies, call this number. East of the Rockies, this number and I want to say there was a wildcard line also.
