    Just said such on First Take. Says that Houston's #1 priority is resigning CP3 and not messing with chemistry.

    It makes sense. I am guessing that it will have to be on some sort of a discount if he wants to come here (which I would say its unlikely, due to him saying he will never play for anything less then the max).

    I just saw that. No surprise there. You don't gut a 65-17 team in an attempt to sign anyone, even LeBron. I do think they need to try to dump Anderson's contract and replace him with a couple of rotation guys who will actually contribute on a regular basis. But it's risky trading away or cutting half the roster in order to fit LeBron's salary.

    CP3 needs to take a discount. Not sure it's the best idea giving him a max given his age and injuries

    come on Cp3. Create a dynasty by taking a pay cut

    The guy is clearly one of the greats, but this team is really on some kind of role this year. Last night's effort wasn't quite what we hoped for, but all things considered, nothing could have gone for us and we still got the W. The team is getting older, but I'd like to ride with these guys till they just can't anymore. Morey has always shown that he absolutely knows what he's doing and it's great to see him reaffirm the position that many of us already had. It's been a great year.

    I don't like CP3 taking a huge contract. He's honestly just too old at this point especially with the injury history

    First or second round exit. Do what needs to be done to get the best player to Houston. Finals appearance, then we should keep the same team and give it another shot next season. If we win championship it would be stupid to gut the team.

    If they win a championship? Maybe. (And then he'd be out of play because he's not Kevin Durant)

    But if they lose the Finals or WCF and LeBron says I want to join, I'm supposed to believe Daryl is gonna pass & say no? "Sorry 'Bron, gonna run it back one more time with this group." I don't believe that.

    In my worthless opinion, if he leaves, he'll go to Filthadelphia.

    I have no interest in gutting and reimagining the Rockets just to be Lebron's 4th pitstop. For what, a shot at titles that he'll probably get all the credit for anyway?

    Lebron is a Team USA member tho

    if the Rockets win the title or look like they’re close to GS while losing to them in a tough 7 game series in the WCF then I’ll believe this
