I came here just to say that. They've been making some mediocre pitchers look good.

 

It's tough when he throws a first pitch strike every time and all the batters have no interest in swinging. Hopefully a better plan will come the 2nd time through the order.

 

He's been hitting the corners with regularity too, but yeah, watching Marwin and McCann swing at pitches a foot off the plate and then Fisher watching a strike 1 meatball is frustrating.

 

I feel like everytime I am actually able to watch these games the opposing pitcher lives on the outside corners and our guys refuse to adjust.

 

His commentary is great. He truly loves the sport.

 

Lets hope the lineup adjusts now second time through

 

That was a nice compensation call for Verlander (strike 3 on Gallo). Ump squeezed him early in the count and the ump probably knew it after a couple seconds of reflection. It all turned out well.

 

Verlander up to 96.7 on that fastball so far.

 

#42 for the Stros looks lost at the plate tonight. I doubt he gets a hit.

 

I know every fan base probably says this at one point or another during the year, but it sure seems like we have an uncanny ability to make scrub starters look like world beaters.

 

This is a pretty pathetic showing by the offense

Colon hasn't thrown 90 pitches his last 7 starts.

This could be 8... but a complete game.
