When Klay is hot, it's hard to beat them. Also, putting McGee on Aldridge early was a smart move.

The Spurs have no business being in the playoffs. The Nuggets would've put up a better fight against the Warriors. Hell, even the Clippers might have been more competitive.

Pop is not overrated. If it weren't for Popovich, this Spurs team would be sub-.500 and have a record similar to the Lakers.

No matter how good a coach is...if a team is missing star talent, then that team will not succeed against good-to-elite competition in the playoffs.

I think it's time for the media to turn up the heat and criticism on Kawhi and his crew. I suspect that Kawhi has been healthy enough to play at a high level for the past few months. He's holding out for some other reason.

Not being on the bench with his teammates today is a bad look.

The Warriors luck never seem to run out......

I blame @Louka. The negative vibes weren’t strong enough, smh.

Guess there’s just an aura around the Spurs that they’ll be fine since everyone expected them to fall off / do worse for years now, so everyone still doesn’t count them whatever the circumstances may be. Though these playoffs not many think it goes past 5 games.

Make no mistake, if LMA was playing the Rockets, he would have went off for 50.

Spurs were playing weird and scared.

2 rebounds for LMA is ridiculous.

Spurs need to consider doing a makeover. Keep the veteran core of Ginobili and Parker on the bench. Trade LMA, Green, and Dejante Murray for picks. Get rid of Gasol and Gay and those other weird ass looking players they have.

The Spurs wouldn't have been easy for the Rockets IMO. MDA has nightmares about these dudes in the playoffs doesn't matter how trash.. I don't care if GSW is dominating them.

Yep. MDA's boogeymen have always been PJax and Pop. We should be thanking the GS for eliminating the Spurs.

didn’t watch the 2nd half of game 1, but the Spurs will be lucky to get just 1 win in this series...GS in 5 at the most, the talent difference is too much

Pop, Yes. Phil, no. MDA has beaten Phil in the playoffs (06 and 07 first round series'). When Phil beat the Suns in the 2010 WCF, MDA was already gone; the head coach at that time was Alvin Gentry. That was the same Suns team that finally overcame the obstacle that was the Spurs; they swept them in that Semifinal series.
