    Thought this was worth its own thread and didnt want it getting buried in the Aaron Jackson signing thread where I also posted this.

    Rockets make good for Quarterman, just like with Bobby Brown. Just the little things that go a long way. It gets noticed.

    Meh, everyone with half a brain knew the only players that b****ed about Morey not treating players like humans were the ones that were butthurt from being traded, extended, or given raises.

    I don't think there have been many players that have b****ed about Morey. Dwight is the only one I remember saying something after Morey said it wasn't wise for him to get the ball in the post.

    Lou was disappointed he got traded again, but no bad words for Morey.

    Bev asked to be traded after knowing he was going to be traded, no bad words for Morey.

    Pat Pat was surprised he got traded, no bad words for Morey.

    Then there is the DMo debacle. DMo's agent did most of the talking there.

    I remember K-Mart being pretty upset and there was this one bench player that no one remembers or cares about. Rockets have always taken care of their players.

    It's a win win.

    Player gets his money at a minimum

    Rockets are looked favorably by fringe players/role players because we take care of them. So they will continue to sign with us.

    You forgot the biggest one which was Asik. Also Jeremy Lin/Melo jersey thing caused a lot of flak. But overall things were more media driven narrative than player based narrative. Now that the Rockets no longer have locker room issues suddenly no one talks about this stuff anymore, shocking.

    Asik didn't say anything bad about Morey did he? I don't think he did. Asik was pouting that whole season because he was playing behind a better player in Dwight. Mchale even tried to appease Asik by playing a two Center lineup that was awful. Morey traded Asik to a better situation in NO where he could be the starter.

    I agree the Lin/Melo thing wasn't a good look, but let's be honest, Lin wasn't a corner stone player. Morey was trying to get what he thought was franchise player in Melo. Not his fault they wore the same number. Lin hasn't said anything bad about Morey after that incident.
