For us: Twolves in the first round, and Jazz/Pel in the second. For the Warriors: Spurs in the first, and OKC/Blazers in the second. This is almost perfect that quality western powerhouses are all avoided until the WCF. The only thing is with Jimmy Butler back, Twolves are a much better team all of sudden. But OTOH, the fact that we killed them in regular season multiple times at their full strength, and they barely beat Nugs tonight in the last minute is good indication we can finish them quickly in the series. Correction: I jumped the gun a little too early. As many said below: For us: Twolves in the first round, and Jazz/OKC in the second. For the Warriors: Spurs in the first, and Pel/Blazers in the second. I think it's a even path for us and GS in terms of difficulties. I am also wondering: had we beat OKC, they would end up 47/35 and a 8th seed?
as @YOLO has stated, the 4-5 matchup is now OKC-Utah which means will be facing the winner of that series in the 2nd round...so prepare yourself for Hou-OKC because I don’t see Utah beating them
This isn't right... We're now facing the Jazz or OKC in the second round, while the Warriors lucked into the cakewalk bracket.
I like it Rockets win The rest I don’t care but would be nice Utah takes care of okc ( okc first round exit would be sweet) Spurs ( take care of warriors before curry comes back) Pelis (eliminate Portland ) Then we face pelis eliminate them and I know we can take care of Utah or the spurs. Spurs would be sweeter to eliminate them but maybe less media pressure if we face Utah because of last year. But who cares bring us anyone. Lests get the first round in 5 or 4 and rest some.
Golden State definitely got the easier bracket. San Antonio without Kawhi then Portland or New Orleans. Minnesota with Butler, Utah, and OKC are better than all three of those teams while presenting matchup problems with their bigs.
I’d rather face OKC than Blazers. OKC has to get the chemistry right and have a run. They’re dangerous if that happens. But it’s unlikely based on the whole year. Blazers are just consistently really good this last month and a half.
I think the road is in fairly good shape. Pole st. Labranch, clay, bell seem in fine shape. Road is not an issue, Parking may be an issue
I want them to win, but I got them losing because they don’t have HCA and they’re not that good on the road, and they’re relying on a rookie to be their #1 option
It is set Houston Gsw Portland Okc Utah Pelis Spurs Wolves I’m confuse prob bcoz no one knew the seeding till now but wouldn’t we play either Portland or NO? For the second round.
Rockets will have to play the thunder. If the thunder sweep the jazz in 4, rockets might have a serious problem. Who knows if this team was just chilling to really mean something come playoffs. You seen how they beat houston. Im little worried about the 2nd round tbh.
