Championships are championships, Asterisk championships are for idiots who are ticked off that a team they don't like won the championship.
Would this be like the Laker asterisks from when Yao and Dikembe got hurt or like the Bulls asterisks from when Detroit no longer had Fennis Dembo or like every asterisk championship since Oscar Robinson retired? Because I think those are legitimate championships, though I keep reading that they aren't. How about all those decades of Boston asterisks because Harden or maybe Jeremy Lin wasn't born yet?
Spurs 1998-99 Championship, asterisk lockout season, when Jordan retired, Wizard Years don't count huh media?
Breh I think you've been eating too many supersized McD's meals lately. You looked a little greasy at the OWLympics.
You know, until this thread, I was not sure why so many people in the GARM gave swyyyguy so much flack and trashed on him. I have read a few of his original threads and a number of his comments, something something he is a Dallas fan haha, but nothing truly stuck out to me as a viable reason. But I think I get it now, after seeing him start this thread and its loaded implications. I totally get it now.
The only asterisk championship I believe in is when there is blatant biased refs with outrageous decisions. For example what happened with Kings - Lakers in 2002. Now that's an asterisk championship and it's almost certainly rigged. Injuries on the other hand, or easy opponents are part of the game.
