Yes of course. Regular season isn't post season. And given nearly everyone said CP3 will not fit.... they have done amazingly well in the regular season.

But, yes, ultimately, the 17/18 season is judged on a ring or not, just like every other seasons for every top teams. But taken into consideration that a fully healthy GSW team (and they can get their by CF) is still a historically absurdly loaded team, losing to that healthy team wouldn't be a surprise.

Now, if we don't get pass the 1st and 2nd round (without any more injuries)...

Here is a negative thought --- MDA knows the weakness of this team.

a bench player gets hurt and our championship dream disappears. What is going on here? I understand if it was Eric Gordon but we talking about Mbah.

There is no doubt that Houston has overachieved. I never expected 65 wins, but your name is made in the playoffs. I have never expected a championship from this squad. We don't have that much talent, and injuries are catching up.

Just give it your all in every game and don't quit, no matter how tough it gets.

He's important. Just because he's not a big name doesn't mean he isn't absolutely vital to our championship hopes. We don't have anything that can replace his versatility.

With Golden State struggles this season... you have to take advance and win.

Yes with the caveat that they can’t lose in a choke in the playoffs.

If they go to the wcf and lose a hard fought series to the warriors this will be a great season still. If they get bounced in round one or lose a series because the stars play like butt then no

if GS has their full roster and does indeed “flip the switch” in the playoffs, then there’s no shame in losing to them in 6 or 7 games

Spoken like a man already coming up with excuses for a playoff failure.

4-0 when Harden, CP3, and Clint all play without LRMAM, no excuse for anything shot of a championship.

    Right exactly.

What will ruin the season is if we look back on it and remember meltdowns, turnover records, concussion-gate, etc. If I look back and remember them playing Golden State tough and just not having enough to get it done, that will frustrate me for awhile, but the season will still be a good one.

Championship should be the goal and anything short of that if no more injuries happen should be a disappointment. This has been a memorable regular season no doubt but when you have the best record in the league by several games, you should be thinking anything short of a championship is a disappointment. Astros embraced winning a championship from the jump last year and are not hiding talking repeating this year. It's good to have that mentality.

This is the season where we have a legit chance at the championship. All the top contenders on both east and west are experiencing some kind of problems. The team that could and would adjust the fastest to the changing circumstance will win the championship. Its a good season better than expected but it can be a great season if we win the championship.

this. we clearly overachieved this regular season while gsw clearly underachieved.

but we are still the underdogs. defending champ superteam >>> 1st year 2 super-star team

Top 5 player Harden & Top 10 player Cp3 can give all their best neutralizing Top 5 KD & Steph

But MDA and everyone else need to step up against 2 time champ Kerr, Top 20 Dray, Top 30 klay, AI, etc

Cherish what you have accomplished in the regular season right up until the first game of the playoffs. The only thing you win in the regular season is a seed in the playoffs.

Over time few people remember or cherish the regular season. It's all about the playoffs and who wins the championship. I've been watching the Rockets since '72 and it's the championship years I remember most. It's the victory parades. It's the championship banners. It's those trophies (now in the possession of Les Alexander).

Hey D'Antoni. Cherish the regular season for the next few days, but then go make history. History that will be remembered for the rest of our lives.
