I know how we match up against the Raptors, Celtics, and Cavaliers, but I didn't catch our earlier games with the Sixers. They have a good run heading into the playoffs. How do they play and how do we match up against them?

CP3 didn't play in either game so it's hard to say

Clint played pretty well against Embiid both times

Tarik Black played some pretty good defense on Emiid in the first meeting. Tarik must know some stuff from their time at Kansas

They're not going to get to the finals anyway.

They've had a pretty good run heading into the playoffs feasting on teams who won't be participating in the playoffs.

Embiid is still out, won't be ready when he gets back into the lineup, and I'm assuming by that point it'll be too late.

I'm expecting Simmons to come crashing down to earth when he gets put up against a good coaching staff in the playoffs - that 0 threat from distance is going to make the Sixers look awfully bad I feel.

They are pretty good since adding Belinelli and Ilyasova for depth.

Provide better spacing for Embiid and Ben Simmons.

Simmons plays as a 6’10” point guard who lacks shooting but is hard to keep away from the rim
    or restricted area.

Embiid is awesome. Cousins without the mental problems. Center truly worthy of max money.

Thought Sixers were just leverage on Cavs to pay up for LeBron; but now I think a viable candidate
to get LeBron this summer because he wants to stay in the East and reports LeBron is at odds
with Dan Gilbert for donating to the Trump campaign. Supposedly.

the are a 50 win team this year. they have come back to relevance really quickly. They are a match up problem, they have good shooters with embid out and a pg that can dish it. Embid is a clumsier Hakeem but definitely has the swagger. I feel they are a dark horse to beat the Cavs.

I'll be worried playing this team. Young guns going into the playoffs without much experience... can easily upset a team.

in a 7 game series their lack of shooting would catch up to them.

Covington, is also extremely coveted to them in that respect. Great 3 and D player.

One player I wished Maurley would have held onto. :(

I think we'd match up well with them. I am basing this mainly on the fact that we have 3 guys who can be effective against Simmons (Ariza, Luc, PJ).

    Embiid, who knows.

Would love to see them try to hide Redick from guarding James or CP3 lol

11th in the L in 3PM per game and team %. Not the best, but far from a liability. Once Fultz is 100% and Simmons starts being semi-decent as a shooter, they're going to be incredibly balanced

Like wise. I saw a lot of Scottie Pippen in Covington back then. Mainly used as a spot up shooter so he will
never be given the chance to progress in offensive skill sets like posting up or off screens.

I didn’t mean to exclude Covington, but I meant that they added two players I wanted the Rockets to
go after once they were bought out (Belinelli and Ilyasova) for bench help.

Along with Covington, Rishaun Holmes plays well and Saric provides spacing as well. JJ Redick shoots well.

Fultz doesn’t shoot well but can drive. Only problem is that the other teams will try to pack the paint
on Embiid/Simmons/ Fultz. Simmons will be intentionally fouled rather than give up drives for
    easy buckets.

    Markell Fultz.

And that was exactly my point, they added to an already solid depth of shooters from their bench to the starting 5.

They could make some noise in this year's playoffs with the right matchups.
