MIP? Zazh will get MVP votes

again, 29 points 20 rebounds tonight....this guy is going to be the next super PF in the NBA.

It's so sad that we used to think Eddie had more potential than Zach had...

All that remains is for him to continue to be matched up against Scott Williams and Jake Voskuhl every night! ;) :D

I like Zach too, but just wanted to keep it in perspective. :)

Eh he's been doing that pretty much all season long. He did it against the Lakers when the Blazers pulled out a W, and he did it against the Rockets last time they played. Even in that one bad game he had against us when the Rox played the Blazers at home he still averaged something like 18/10 I believe. The guy is legit.

I remember that first Rocky Mountain Revue game when Zack blew away Eddie...

    I tried to dismiss it...

I like Randolph because his game is kind of similar to Amare's, but he doesnt rely on just pure athleticism. He can use quickness to get around slower players, but he is very crafty when it comes to finishing around the basket. He's very skilled and has a great shooting touch.

I think rememeber that. IIRC, it was aired on ESPN2 and I probably taped it thinking Eddie was a rising star. :(

Again, not trying to take anything away from Zach, but Iwill definitely watch what happens to his game if/when Rasheed moves on.

Zach is young, strong, quick and has excellent shooting touch. Stats wise, he is already among top 5 PF in the league.

Now if he can improve his defense, learn how to pass through the double team (he seems have trouble against it) and stay away from off court trouble and drug, he will be dominate in the league for long time.

It is amazing how poor a scouting job most teams had done passing the legit telents like Zach, Tony Parker, Manu, etc.

Jailblazer's team chemistry is pathetic, but they do recognize talent.

I want CD to hire Rasheed as an assistant coach for the Rockets if his player's career is over because of his bad mouth. Look at J O'Neal, Zach....Rasheed must be a pretty good teacher about lost post skills. :D

Seriously, Sheed is an oustanding lowpost player, anyone can benefit from him.

I think in terms of drugs and stuff, he's off it now because well, at least according to him hes thinking more about his family. As for losing temper, not caring, and not playing to his strength, that's completely different...

    C'mon!!

The Blazers run the post through Randolph now - Sheed plays MUCH more of a perimeter role these days!

I hate 'what ifs' as much as the next person, but to think we could've had Jefferson and Randolph as our forwards.... hindsight is everything I guess!

I was OK with drafting RJ, I was pissed when we passed over Zach for Collins, who I knew was OK but just already close to his poential. then I was elated to find out we traded our 3 players for EG.

How sad all those picks were wasted now. I don't blame us as much for the EG pick as like the Collier pick, because EG did/does at least have talent even if he never makes himself into anything.

Zach is too short to be a great defender, or the athletisism to make up for it. He's an awesome offensive player. Still, with all the talent on the blazers he can't get his team better 12-11? Cmon guys...aren't MVPs on great teams?

Humm... Since last year Randolph has started to become a force but lets not get out of hand and start calling him an MVP worthy. Zach is far from getting to that level. I would consider him in the same class with Elton Brand but still not as consistent or good.
