We ran some pretty dumb plays and made some pretty dumb decisions in crunch time. It's pretty lame to blame bad execution on a lack of effort.

Adams is definitely good, and I am sure that is a big part of it, but it didn't seem Clint even tried that usual pick n roll for the alley oop like he is capable of doing. Plus, Clint only played 26 minutes, so 10 rebounds isn't terrible. Adams played 29, and only had 2 more rebounds than Clint. Also, Clint had 3 blocks and Adams didn't have any, so that's they aren't shutting him down.

I think I made CF proud tonight. I got into it with Russ at courtside.

He was b****ing to the Ref, and I said, “He needs the triple double in fouls, Ref. Help him get those stats.”

Russ turned and looked at me and said, “That’s stupid, man.”

And I replied, “I’m in your head, Brodie.”

Hell, we played them pretty well without EGO and Ryno.

Why would we want the Thunder to lose? Their last two games are against cupcake opponents. So they’ll get into the playoffs. But I don’t want the first round against them. The Thunder win, they’re, what?, fifth seed? Lose and they’re 9th, with two easy games left.

Nothing to get upset about, this loss.

You're right, tonight, the OT game vs Detroit, the 2pt win vs. Portland when we have a 24pt 2nd half lead, the 17pt loss to the Spurs, and the need for a game-winning shot on PHX shared no poor play consistencies that would be concerning as we approach the playoffs.

I'm not saying we don't have the W's, and obviously we've been resting players here and there, but we've been sloppier with our turnovers, relying too much on ISO plays, uncharacteritically missing a ton of FTs, poor defense, poor reactions to pressure situations and double-teams, and have not been showing any dependable chemistry.

Sorry that you can't see those issues because the end of the regular season still shows pretty W's. It takes critical thinking past that letter. If we can get the W's in the playoffs, yes THEN it's all okay, however I am sure you're capable of seeing these regular season issues leading into what will be much more competitive play, of which we have reacted to rather poorly of late.

that's why i said neutralize. a big part of the rockets success is clint dominating his matchup with alley oops, dominating the boards, and shutting down the paint.

he's not having that big impact he usually has against adams.

Why are we even playing our guys to the end? I'd rather sit our starters in the 4th quarter and just take the loss rather than lose while playing normally.

This is good practice for playoffs though. At least we can see areas we need to strengthen. I get your point though. It's a risk for injury and just kind of embarrassing when they are taking lazy shots and making sloppy turnovers. I would have rather lost with the starters on the bench too, but maybe they needed their cages rattled a little before playoffs, instead of during them.

I think Gordon should rest the rest of regular season.

Too risky. I'm actually glad the Thunder won tonight given that the Pelicans and Spurs both won. Now there's virtually no chance OKC winds up 8th. We do NOT want them in the first round. We'd beat them, but it'll be hell getting past that team.

There's actually a decent chance OKC winds up the 7th seed now which is what we want. Let them be the Warriors' problem in the postseason. We can take on the T'Wolves or Nuggets who shouldn't extend the series past 5 games.

Agreed. Adam's is differently an X factor when it comes to OKC vs Roxs.. Bigger and stronger and someone that Clint can't seem to run out the gym and out hustle.. which is Clints main weapons.

Refs dont get every call correctly, we know that... But they obviously see something you don't. Harden gets those calls what 7 out of 10 times? That says something. After all they are paid to officiate games, I'm sure your not...
