btw: no joke OKC is precariously close to not even making playoffs.

OKC can fall to 8th seed with a loss vs Rockets, combined with Minny and NOLA winning. Leaving them only 1/2 game ahead of Denver at 9th seed.

Both NOLA and Minny hold tiebreakers over OKC, and NOLA is playing Phoenix.

Royce Young is not saying that he thinks so. He is saying that the team's players think so

This is ridiculous on so many levels. Not only did that team upgraded mid-season with Drexler trade, but Hakeem was injured for quite a bit of that season which contributed to the overall low seed. The Knicks comparison would've at least sort of worked comparatively speaking.

Absolutely, I wasn't saying that frivolously. I think if Denver wins 2 more games it goes from being merely possible to likely.

It's like Kobe fans and Lin fans did a fusion dance.

The scenario I saw for OKC missing the playoffs was

OKC goes 1-2 or worse (@ HOU, @ MIA, vs MEM)
NO goes 2-2 or better (@ PHX, @ GS, @ LAC, vs SA)
MIN goes 2-1 or better (@ LAL, vs MEM, vs DEN)
DEN goes 2-1 or better (@ LAC, vs POR, @ MIN)
SAS goes 1-2 or better (vs POR, vs SAC, @ NOP)

Never underestimate the heart of players that think they should be champions?

OKC hold no tie-breakers. Pels, Nuggets, Wolves, and Spurs all hold the tie-breakers over OKC.

    Thats' crazy.

When the "Regular Season doesn't matter" mantra goes bad.

Well, technically. Good chance there is a three-way tie, which is broken differently than h2h. But I suppose if they are worse h2h against each team, they probably have worse 3-team record, too, an any scenario.

Nah... the 95' Rockets had to beat a 60 win Jazz, a 59 win Suns, a 62 win Spurs team in route to earn the right to play a 57 win Orlando Magic.

Worst case scenario for them (if the playoffs started now) is playing a 48 win Trailblazers, a 57 win golden state, a 64 win Rockets and a 56 win Raptors. That first series win wouldn't exactly be amazing like beating the 60 win Jazz. If they beat GS and us, more power to em'. We're championship caliber.

    And get this...

there is a possibility GSW might purposefully lose to NOLA, depending upon how it plays out to knock OKC off the #7 seed. And if DEN beats LAC (next game), then LAC will be eliminated from playoffs and will probably tank the game against NOLA.

Why do OKC/Westbrook fans always do this ****??? They find the outlier, and act like THAT is something that can be repeated. How about the other 50 or so 6 seeds that didn't do **** in the playoffs?? God, what an annoying fan base.
