It’s 1 meaningless game, who cares? The Rockets are playing for absolutely nothing. When do the playoffs finally start?

That was almost identical to the shot CP3 hit to beat the Spurs in 2015.

That was an embarrassing collapse though. The intensity has to come back.

What choke? They are the NUMBER THREE TEAM in a very tough western conference trying to secure their seed. You think Portland is full of scrubs instead of young professional players hungry to win?

I really like the fact that Chris in particular and the team in general was not smiling about that win despite the game winner and heroics.

Paul really seems like he's got his head on straight ... he knows when to have fun and when we just had a serious meltdown that we need him to lead us in learning from as everyone gets pounded by the coaches in the film session tomorrow.

Hey CJ, Would it be fair to call CP's game winner a layup? You were "around", right?

i know it was meaningless, but i'm landing on the side of i'm real glad that 3 didn't go in. i turned the game back on with us up 10 with 1:42 to go and maybe watched the stupidest basketball ever. it would've quickly been forgotten but blowing a 17 point lead in 4 1/2 minutes on a buzzer beating 3 would've really sucked.

i mean, james harden throws a fullcourt pass up 8 with 1:40 to go to tarik who has absolutely no advantage instead of running clock (one day someone will ask harden in an interview what he sees on those long lob passes that always result in a turnover, he just can't resist). paul gets friggin stripped by connaughton, harden chokes 2 free throws. some white guy makes a beautiful fadeaway (that he was dumb to take) to make it 94-90. after our 1 point in 5 minutes start to the quarter, i thought we had control, and then almost an epic end to our home winning streak. but i guess this is how this regular season goes. we still make the buzzer beater.

all i saw was rockets dangling the W in blazer's face and pulled it away in the last second and be like "jk lelz we win"

kind of mean spirited, but damn their role players really went all out. felt bad for them.

I hope it will be an eye opener for the
Rockets to tighten up their defense quickly before any team gets hot. Defense will always keep our guys in the game, even when we can't score.
It's a big relief that CP3 came through for us.

Harden was doing well on the double team IMO. He passed out of it to PJ consistently getting GG two wide open threes he missed.

Late game: Harden and CP were effectively passing to each other when each were being doubled until Harden inexplicably tried to rifle a pass into Capela when he didn't need to do it. Harden could have kept on passing to CP. Portland was trying to double both CP and Harden and you can't do that for long.

he wasn't, he was letting it go, and it was probably the perfect game to let it go and become video room footage
