Eddie Griffin averaged 9 points and 6 rebounds a game and you guys are happy with that. Why cant you be happy with the production Yao is putting out??
Until his recent slew of bad games, I thought he was doing pretty good. I guess everything is relative - people had really high expectations of Yao coming into this season.

Oh God! There is nobody that was happy with what Eddie Griffin did on the court. He showed potential but never did anything with it. chew_your_fat, Yao is not immune from criticism just like the rest of the players. He will get criticized when he plays poorly and praised when he plays well like he did tonight.

I somewhat agree with you. Although I have been disappointed in Yao's play lately along with just about every other Rocket, I am sick of the bashing that is going on this board. I did criticise Yao and other players, but in a constructive manner which is ok. It's the trade Yao and Fire Mobley threads that are the problem. I just hope you are not one of the people that bashes SF and Cat every time they have a bad game and stay silent when they have a good one.
I cannot agree with you more. Months ago, I was upset and defended Francis when it looked like every thread was bashing, trading Francis and beholding Yao. Now, it was the opposit. So many threads were bashing and trading Yao. We have to understand BB is a team game. They win and lose as a team. It's rare that one plays extremely well while the other extremely bad. It's more often one feed off the other.
Actually, people just like to pick on players when they have a bad game or two. When the Rox start winning, they either are gone missing or just ignore certain individual players in their posts. You have to understand that many of these people arent excatly rolemodesl that a 5 year old would look up to. So just let'em post whatever they want, it's a way of life.
Just start using the Ignore list. Every player on the Rocket's squad deserves to be criticized when they play poorly. It's part about being a fan of the team. Just like praising them when they do what they are supposed to do.
