Why invent a new award for LeBron, just because he is unable to win the MVP?

What if a player is both the “best” player and the “most valuable” player? Does he win both awards?

All this does is dilute the significance of MVP. Stupid, stupid idea.

Harden has already won the award - everybody knows it...

What are these media people supposed to say? "It's basically a one horse race that has already been decided... but tune in and listen to us all agree..." lol

ESPN just ran a Lebron segment. They are absolutely pushing the Lebron MVP narrative as hard as possible.

It’s some real blow hard bias. The MVP award is starting to creep down the avenue of where wins no longer matter.

Wow you have got to be ****ing kidding me...!!!!

well if that's the case why didn't they do that last year, better yet why not back in 2015, the amount of disrespect toward harden is just unreal.

Harden is by far the most hated NBA superstar I've ever seen, it's truly ****ing sad.

Wins matter when Harden isnt a candidate for MVP. Throw him into the running, the criteria for MVP changes into individual stats and how bad someone's supporting cast is.

I'm guessing you don't ever watch them anymore, but MSNBC changed it's platform away from the gumby left 3 years ago, and CNN swallowed the void.

Harden deserves to win . But , at this point I do not care .

All I want is the chip .

In fact I kinda want James to lose MVP and we sweep everyone in the playoffs .... Just to make people that didn't vote for him look stupid. Imagine Harden averaging 35 in the playoffs and just ducking people up !

Also if he's denied again , he'll prolly just say "**** it " and go full team-player mode , transcending any selfishness and then enlighten us with 5 more rings

HELL ****ING NAW MAN, WTF...!!!:eek: Harden should have already won 2 trophies, people are already looking stupid after voting for Westbrook last season, are we gonna continue saying the same thing over and over..??!! we have been saying the same thing for the past couple years, Harden should be the unanimous MVP (even though I don't care) this season and it shouldn't even be close.

do folks even understand how much weaker the east is than the west? that honestly should settle this so-called debate. Freaking unbelievable that this is even a debate; what a joke. Winning 18 more games in the west and averaging the stats Harden is averaging ....no freaking debate. unreal!

There isnt actually a debate. There’s just guys talking on television because we have 24hrs of time to fill. Harden will win MVP by an overwhelming majority.

Look at the MLB MVP race. Everyone was at least a little unsure of what would happen but Altuve won it by a landslide. He won against a New York guy who was an ESPN darling who also happened to be very deserving of the award himself.

Lebron is an ESPN darling but he has no case for this award. He’s not even remotely close. Harden will crush him in votes.
