Max Kellerman after LeBron James says he'd vote for himself for MVP

Key is Max kellerman is an amateur, and Stephen A. Smith is a professional in BBall.

 

Curry signed with UA but it does bring up an interesting point. All the other MVPs recently have been Nike outside of Curry. LeBron, Westbrook, Durant.

What would be interesting is that Harden LEFT Nike to go to Adidas two years ago. Thats something new. As far as I know Curry signed with UA outright. I can't remember the last time a big name left Nike to sign with a competitor. Kobe left adidas to join Nike.

I am sure with Harden blowing up the way he has been that there isnt a NIKE "smear" campaign to lower his star power. Hell there are plenty of rumors that Nike helped push Durant to Golden State to have a stake in the Bay area with Curry being the new face of the NBA.


I have said this a bunch already I would be shocked if Harden does not win MVP this season, I think he will, but I would be shocked if he has as many first place votes as Westbrook did last season. I think he will have less than 69 first place votes.

It's entertainment people, Max HAD to have a differing viewpoint than SAS. I don't think anyone actually think Harden won't win MVP...It's not a discussion segment like "The Jump", it's a debate segment. What else would you expect...

 

This. LBJ has jaked it so hard on D, in fact the game we played the Cavs @ their place and blew them out there were multiple plays. And right around this time he was being a 'hity teammate by pouting and getting dudes traded. Not very MVP like..

 

This is the thing. Kellerman is the Washington Generals of ESPN. The man gets paid to take a dive. He's on a show where two people are supposed to dabate about something. They need someone to take an opposing view no matter how stupid it is. Kellerman is the guy that usually gets stuck with the idiotic take. But, at least he gets paid well for looking stupid.

 

Lebron Needs to watch this video. Let your game do the ****ing talking and shut up! Jordan won 69 games that season. Lebron is 3 seed in the crappy East.

ESPN, Fox Sports is on Nike payroll, Phil Knight of Nike is the Main Culprit. Westbrook hype by Nike last year for MVP, now the most overrated irrelevant player this year. Ever since James Harden left Nike and signed with Adidas, Phil Knight and Nike is trying to screw Harden. It is working for the last 5 years of MVP voting.

James has an edge in Rebounds & Assists per game, but assists is due to playing more minutes per game than Harden.

Harden beats James in Steals, which makes up for Rebounds.

When you factor in that Harden plays in the West and James in the East and that Harden's Rockets are 16 games better than James' Cavs, it's not even close. Harden has done more in less minutes, has made the guys around him better to the tune of +16 wins and often loses out on stats because the Rockets are so far ahead that hit routinely sits during garbage time.

Harden should be unanimous.
