oh, almost forgot...my vote was for DC because he's actually still showing signs of improvement...unlike Steve.

I think the Texans made the right choice with drafting David Carr. I see no other QB drafted after David Carr who has done squat. Joey Harrington is almost about to be named a bust. The problem with a David Carr-led team is that he has to deal with a Peyton Manning-led team. Back when Troy Aikman was leading the Cowboys to the NFC East top each year, it was really tough on the other teams in the division. It really wasn't until age caught up to the big 3 in Dallas that the NFC East started going up for grabs. I don't expect Peyton Manning to recede anytime soon.

His choke job in the 1998 playoffs against the Padres did it for me. Steve Francis will eventually have his opportunity to choke in the playoffs too.

You guys forget that the Texans are a new team. Carr had two seasons with his team, Francis has had five.

are you sure about that? their playoff chances this year look VERY precarious...and it's hard to see that changing in the near future.

I see it the same way. You can imagine Carr becoming one of the best quarterback in the league, I just don't think Steve is going to be among the top 5 of PGs.

Franchise is the best, forget anyone else. The only person that can carry a team in this league is THE FRANCHISE. y because look at him last year avg. was 6 assist/7 rebound/ 21 points. Tell me one player that can do that. Tmac NO, if he fixed that eye may be he could have got more assists. KOBE couldn't do it without shaq. Only contender is Jason Kidd, but cause of his Kenyon Martin/Richard Jefferson, he got to that position.

    SO FRANCHISE IS THE BEST!
    HE CAN'T STOP!
    HE WON'T STOP!

Hmmm, not a good start with your first post...first of all Steve had 21/6.2/6.2 last year, and 2nd here are some guys with similar, if not better, numbers last year:
    Garnett
    Kobe
    TMac
    Kidd
    Ray Allen
    Webber
    Mashburn

AND, Steve isn't coming close to those numbers this year (well, reb's maybe).

All due respect to TB, but he is no Carr.
Did you see the Atl game, and how the entire team improved by 100% when Carr came in the game for Banks?

Francis isn't a franchise player. The media only gave him that nick cause he was a very high draft pick and it sounds good with his name. However, he's done nothing to warrant such a label. If he was selected in the 2nd round, nobody would be calling him stevie franchise. He'd just be another Gilbert Arenas. The nick might have sounded cool at the time based on potential, but after 5 years, franchise players would have gotten their teams to the playoffs by now.
