How does this even make sense? How can someone be a better player but have a worse season?

It's only because he was going easy on his friend Wade. Don't you listen to Kellerman?

They really must be running out of things to talk about. Yes we know - Lebron will always be great.

We have one of the best offensive ratings of all time. Not a peep though. Lebron must be realllllllllllly marketable for a failing espn.

stop reaching. The reason is because Lebron gets clicks. Lebron is the face of the NBA and has more fans of him personally than a lot of NBA teams.

Not supposed to bring politics into the GARM, but if you are, at least get it right. MSNBC is the liberal cable news network. CNN is the moderate one.

I like this idea. One caveat. Instead of a split MVP, we keep on with the current method and just introduce the "Best Player".

Every year, the "Best Player" award will only be limited to LeBron or Westbrick. The winner and runner up will not be eligible for MVP.

If the Cavs would have a comparable record to the Rockets, then Lebron would be neck and neck with Harden, but since they are not, its basically a given Harden is going to win MVP this year. I just hope that if the Cavs and Rockets meet in the finals, Lebron doesn't go all Hakeem on Harden. But if that were to happen, the only positive would be that all these Clutchfans kids will finally realize how meaningless the regular season MVP really is.

Might as well just flood the nba with a bunch of meaningless awards. Turn it into the MTV movie awards(is that still a thing?) or the ESPYs.

    "Best player"
    "Best receeding hairline"
    "Most memorable choke"
    "Spazz of the year"
    "Best dressed"
    "Best kiss"
"Worst best player on the worst team"
"Best worst player on the best team"

Russell Westbrick is prime example that the narrative changes every year. I'm sure BSPN would love to deny Harden the MVP outright.

ESPN trying to create drama for website clicks. Harden wins in a landslide.

It won’t be unanimous like it absolutely should be, but Harden will win by over 90%. They just need something to talk about and they’d prefer it not be about us.
