In or Out on LeBron James being able to pass Harden for MVP

I saw this earlier. Glad to see they didn't even entertain this notion. You know that wouldn't be the case on Worst Take or Convoluted.

 

Harden would actually have to play and maybe score less than 12 points per game while Lebron would have to average 40/10/10 for the rest of the season.

 

Everyone pretty much agrees that Harden is the MVP, but Lebron gets way more publicity being 33 yrs of age and putting up numbers. ESPN just made a huge deal out of a Nets game.

 

Yup. Just like we have the 1 seed locked up, Harden has the MVP locked up.

ESPN and all these other blowhards are going to try their damndest to slot someone ahead of Harden. First it was Kyrie, Then it was Anthony Davis, Just recently they were making a case for Damian before we beat them in their house... and now the King is finally stepping up and beating the worse teams in the East while putting up ginormous stats. Pssh! Piss off.

Harden has this in the bag and it's no contest.

Don't think it will happen unless Harden goes into Game 6 against SA mode the rest of that year. I really think he must have been trying to play through a concussion that game. He is too good to play at that low a level. Either that or he just completely ran out of gas from single handedly getting the Rockets as far as they got last year. This year he has a lot more help.

 

FS1 has nothing to lose by watching games, saying things straight up and separating themselves from BSPN.

Like I get it, Lebron is amazing and I hope he comes here but they’re grasping for straws to find someone who they can prop up as an MVP challenger to Harden. Harden is the MVP, it hasn’t been close for awhile, and ESPN is upset cause they don’t want him to win #mediaconspiracy

 

Anyone that talks about Lebron for MVP should go back and re-visit / re-watch the Cavs games from January.

In fact go back and watch the Rockets vs Cavs game. That was choice.
