Not that I agree with OP, but employers have to follow HIPAA guidelines all the same. And with the Rockets being the employer in this instance, they are bound by them. Drug screen and physical results, FMLA paperwork, list of employee disabilities, medications taken, etc. Employers often have just as much medical info on thier employees as Heathcare Insurers and Providers.
You don’t have to be a doctor or caregiver to be bound by HIPPA. But the broadcast team is not bound by HIPPA.
