I love Joe Johnson. His step back jumper is more beautiful than Harden's. If only the ball goes through the hoop...
@DreamShook while I understand the sentiment .... I'd rather use my positive vibes on players that might make a difference for us like Ryan Anderson , and Gerald green .
lol, If MDA insists on playing JJ, I'm going to root for him to play well. I am going to make a trip to the Ryan Anderson positive vibes thread too.
Can we start an MDA negative vibes towards playing JJ thread ? Nothing bad , but like wish MDA has an upset stomach every time he thinks of playing JJ in a non-blowout situation
NAW, MAN!! I've seen the power of that negative vibes thread.. it's too powerful! That negative vibes thread is out of control.
@Louka drop some lines of positivity in this thread for Joe.. Just see if it works!! Your power can't all be comprised of darkness. flip clutchfans.net over to the light theme and wish Joe luck!
Look at all these simple minded folks looking at the box score and not realizing the value of JJ. What a luxury having JJ passing out of the post, creating by himself, or shooting the 3. He understands the system so well already. We usually have 2 of Harden/Paul/Gordon in the game, but sometimes only one person is in. When pace slows down in the playoffs and teams can take out 1-2 players on the court, now you have JJ adding a different dimension. What a time to be a Rockets fan.
I think anyone who watched the game today could clearly see why Johnson can be so valuable. Anytime he went in the post, he immediately drew a double team. He generated numerous good looking shots and if he wasn't being double teamed he had no issues backing his defender all the way to the basket. Absolutely invaluable skillset to have in the playoffs.
especially against 2nd units, hes going to be a problem. if teams decide to play him one on one, hes going to definitely take advantage.
