Makes sense. I look at it like getting in a car wreck going 40 in a mini van vs 100 mph in a Trans Am. We need to start looking at gun control the way we practically deal with driving here in the US. We accept the certain deaths that will occur every day from car wrecks because of the benefits that cars bring. We could save lives every year by lowering the speed limit to 40 everywhere but we’ve made that decision as a society to deal with the deaths that come with high speed limits to get places faster. Right now with guns it’s not a 70mph speed zone. It’s 100 in a school zone with no seat belts. I just don’t understand why the gun nuts get so worked up with simple asks for common sense laws. Nobody is taking your damn guns away. Just trying to at least minimize the carnage folks.
LOL what are you even talking about? When did I get "called out" and "called out" for what exactly? Are we talking about the delusional fantasy of banning and confiscating all semi-automatic weapons or are we talking about "gun control" that would have no real benefits? I mean, we've been over this several times before, having people change from one gun to another doesn't really help anything. Students are just as dead if they are shot with a handgun as with an "assault rifle".
Yes, we shouldn't have laws because bad guys will break them. I could literally set a template of stupid responses every time there's a gun control debate. Good guy with a gun, bad guys break the law, it's mah right, etc.
A person killed by a handgun is no different than a person killed by an "assault rifle"....and to blow your mind, those people are no different than a person killed by a bomb.
Thanks for the laughs More serious response: In the real world, the US is #1 most violent developed country in the world and gun related deaths are the primary contributing factor. Also in the real word, other countries with super strict gun control end up at the bottom of violent crime.
Ok then what you going to say you somehow forgot. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/practical-gun-control.286348/page-5
In the real world, the US currently has one of the lowest homicide rates that it has had in a century and if not for a few hyper violent segments of the population the US homicide rate would be comparable to Canada. Gun control has nothing to do with it.....then again, I understand that those who have been pimping out that narrative for decades will say anything to advance their agenda so I'm not expecting much. Also, if you feel like living in one of those other countries, you are more than free to do so.
You talking about you throwing a tantrum and me not wasting the time to break things down for you Barney style? I'm still in no mood to hold anyone's hand and go full on Anne Sullivan. I'm only interested in talking to adults that I won't have to do that for.
“Break it down for me” Lol just shows you get called out for mis information you spew. You don’t have an intelligent rebuttal so you resort to this. Bobby “the great” you are not. “Only interested in talking to adults.” Lol give me a break you got owned in that discussion and you ran away with a tail between your legs. That is so weak. Is this all you got Bobby? You should give up you are oblivious not Intelligent enough to have a discussion where you quantify your statements. If you did you would have a rebuttal but THIS what this your reply. Smh I feel bad for you.
If Canada didn’t have a few hyper violent segements of the population Canada would have a lower homicide rate. And if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle.
Your tantrum is noted, but again, I'm still not interested in a discussion with the little kid's table at the moment. Perhaps find someone more your speed to discuss the issue with so that you can let the grown folks talk.
Lol just shows you have no reply. Think I proved my point and your ineptitude. Now go crawl back in your little bubble. Where you don’t have to prove anything. You made out to be fraud. But going by other posters around that nothing new about you.
So you seriously believe that there is no difference between a handgun and an assault weapon IN THE HANDS OF A MASS SHOOTER. OK, not all critical thinking are created equal, I guess.
