So I'm at the airport in Atlanta this past Monday, coming home for winter break, when who else do I see waiting in line at Burger King than Easy Eddie, looking as tall and scrawny as ever, with the only noticeable difference being the length of his goatee. Well, let's just say I stared at him for a while because I couldn't understand...well, no....I assume he has family in Atlanta....I didn't know how he was in Atlanta. Now, I'm no legal expert, but I thought since he's going to be tried in a felony case that he wasn't allowed to leave the state, and that if anybody found out he was in Atlanta, that would land him in even more trouble. Am I wrong? Anyways...just thought you all would be interested in this.
What?! No pictures?! Did you at least ask the tree question? J/K. Nice scoop, tpl. That's an interesting question that I hope one of the attorney posters on this board answers. And I second DoD's post too. My head's given up on Eddie, but my heart hasn't yet. I doubt Eddie will be back this season, but I like to hope that maybe he'll sign back with us in a year or two and earn a longer contract. It's disappointing to see the hype and hope end like this, and it's gut-wrenching to have nothing come out of those three draft picks.
wow tpl sees Eggie and posts about it are you sure it was him, did he try to block you when you moved your eyebrow??? better hope Feigan and others don't read this thread
Oh, it was him alright. I stared at him for what one might call an uncomfortably long time to make sure. And I still think he's not allowed out of state at this time...the Kobe situation is not applicable as a counterexample, since he's actually playing, and thus, his job requires him to travel.
Hasnt EG done enough already to where we can weasel out his contract and get some cap space already!!!???
Well, now that he's been released, I'm very glad I didn't try and strike up a conversation with him seeing as how my introduction would have been "I'm a huge Rockets fan."
