    yea we all know regular season doesn't = playoffs, it does show some tendencies of how a team would perform in certain situation.. good luck with your so called logic

    I'm with you. I don't think it's ever good for any team to blame the officiating. That is something that is always out of your hands. Better to focus on what you can control. It's possible Rivers knew his players were upset by the officiating and wanted to say something to show he would stick up for them, and the announcers just ran with it.
