I will keep my bold prediction that this year GSW will be knocked out earlier than WCF. If they face Minny, Pels, Blazers or OKC... thats a 50/50 for any of them. And yeah, we will win the title and yeah, the media will surely put a lot of remarks on the title as the GSW was not 100%. Do you remember Jordan retiring for two seasons?
I know it is a forgone conclusion at this point we will win our division. But does anyone know the magic number until it is official? To me it looks like 1. When we win 1 or Pelicans lose 1 that's it. We are Southwest Division champs.
Chris Paul wasn't an all-star this year. So, Golden State and Houston will be playing the same number of all-stars.
well it all comes down to how many games it would take the Pelicans to overtake us if we lost all our remaining games and that number is 54..............we have 53 wins
with both klay and steph both out for a few more games looks like we can lock up the 1 seed soon. hope we can rest harden and cp for a few more games before playoff
Clay could miss "weeks" with a fractured thumb , no telling when Curry will be back with that ankle According to an espn article I saw earlier that jackass Green is out tonight too. That by all appearances is Kerr throwing in the towel on that #1 seed .... apparently he just wants to make sure they are healthy come playoff time. Highly likely the Rockets end up with home court throughout the playoffs and wont have to win 64 to get there.
believe me Warriors want home court for extra playoff revenue.. You collect more revenue on home games, and ticket price plus all corporate prices are through the roof... They could lose home court to both Houston and Toronto.. I really don't think they would want that..
Not at the cost of reducing their chance to win the chip. You think they care about making 2-3% from tickets more than actually winning it all?
Do they really have a choice if they want to be healthy ?! If they aren't healthy they have no shot at winning it all , healthy without home court and they still have a reasonable shot.
If I'm playing him after coming back from this , I'm taking every opportunity to hit that thumb .... He's either gonna buck up and play thru it or go sit his ass back on the bench. And I'll trip Curry too .... he jumps he's comin down on my foot. I hate those dudes .....

@topfive thanks for your post. I would recommend also have a post about clinching HC throughout all playoffs including finals. With Toronto holding the tiebreaker with Houston I think its worthwhile to include. My guess is that MDA will (or SHOULD) rest guys as soon as HC through the finals are clinched. I believe the Front Office really wants this team to win at least 60 games (a franchise first) and definite #1 seed throughout but not at the expense of their players health.
