Dramatic video released by authorities in Oklahoma shows the tense exchange leading up to the moment a bail agent fired off a fatal shot at one of her clients inside her office nearly a year ago.

Authorities had charged Chasity Dawn Carey with first-degree murder after the Aug. 9 shooting, but jurors on Friday cleared the 42-year-old of any wrongdoing, NewsOk reported.

Carey testified she shot 38-year-old Brandon James Williams in self-defense, claiming he tried to grab her gun before he attempted to flee from her office.

Her 19-year-old son, Justin Henderson, set up a GoPro camera ahead of William’s arrival, which recorded the fatal confrontation

The mother and son were trying to take Williams, who was free on bail at the time, back into custody, according to NewsOK.

When the pair attempts to cuff their suspect he appears to become increasingly agitated, standing up and dodging their efforts to restrain him.

Williams in the clip can be seen digging through one of the drawers on Carey’s desk before the bail agent reaches in and pulls out a gun. She fired off one shot and then encouraged her son to phone authorities.

Visibly distraught, Henderson can be seen pacing in and out of the office at the end of clip.

“Mom, you just shot him,” he can be heard saying before covering his mouth in shock.

She responds calmly: “I did, now call the police.”

    So this isn't murder?

Bail Bonds men lose their money if a person runs. I guess if the person is dead they get their money back?

...I wanna know what the hell took her so long...non-compliance is supposed to be a death-sentence...

...he got at least 286 more seconds to comply than Tamir Rice did...
...and that's assuming she's at least as well-trained as a bail-bondsman and officer of the court as a city police officer is...

...I tell you, there's really something to this #MAGA business...

    self defense!
    attempted to grab her gun!
    Attempted to flee?

the only truth in her testimony is that she shot him

I had no idea that bail bondsmen actually cuffed people and had them detained. That seems really bizarre that it's part of their job.

I don’t see him digging through any drawer.

Too easy to kill and then claim self defense.

Wow, she actually stated she's going to quit being a bondsman and instead start a career in photography? After a murder? Hell I thought I was reading an onion article.

I'm no lawyer but why was the charge 1st degree murder and not 2nd degree? Could that been the factor that cleared her?
