One of the first things I have read in space science have been his book "A brief history of Time"...still have that book...Never knew what black holes was then, but his amazing mind captivated my interest in the field. An amazing man, who found a way to overcome physical limitations to revolutionize astrophysics...
a great loss for science! always wanted to be an astrophysicist, but alas, my brain could not keep up with my ambitions. hopefully my next 2 favorite scientist still have decades to go: neil tyson degrasse and bill nye (he counts right?)
The world has lost one of its greatest minds today. Fortunately, he will continue to live on through his work.
