Sad that Wright is injured with no return date. I thought he would be able to give some minutes, since he was playing in some games in Memphis before, being bought out.
What do the advance metrics say about Joe when he’s in the floor. Maybe there’s some silver lining we’re missing via the eye test.
This guy legitimately lost the game against Toronto. I just don't think people realize how slim the margin of error could be against the better teams. Let alone GS. Joe Johnson could single-handedly lose a series in just like, a quarter against SA, GS, or TOR. You could go down by 15 points with him on the floor in a flash and suddenly you lose a game you played well enough to win, you lose HCA for the series, and you never gain that advantage again. That people want him to play against GS, and think he'll somehow impact games positively blows me away. If D'Antoni actually believes he can impact a game positively against a GOAT-level team then he deserves to have his name stomped and ridiculed for basketball eternity.
Meanwhile, the Rockets held down a good, surging team in Clippers for the win. The Clippers have been held to less than 100 points TWICE the last 10 games (not sure why I wrote season as that makes no sense). Both times were by the Rockets. Clippers in the last 20 games: 96, 112, 113, 116, 116, 123, 128, 92, 122, 128, 127, 129, 114, 98, 108, 104, 113, 96, 112, 109. As you can see they have been playing absolutely BONKERS lately and our D was just like "Nope."
Monkeys in here chimping around as usual after a win, how about u guys use the +/- argument? Whaaaaaa Johnson has a +7 how can this be doesn't he suck? Watch the game more carefully and pay attention to how open johnson can get his teammates while in the post. His passes are solid, his shooting isn't the greatest, but he's contributing.
You’re talking about one game. It’s amazing how oblivious you are. And in the end it still shows < green
idk y u still btching did u miss the game where jj was basically just passing to your boy in the post gg while he was wide open multiple times?
Why, it was Trevor Ariza's FIRST stint here, in 2009! http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/i-have-grown-to-hate-trevor-ariza.179442/
