CP3 isn't leading the league in assists and we're projected to win more than 62 games so not that accurate? ;)

Yeah you got Hardens scoring right, but lets face it he was around 29 ppg the last two seasons with rox adding the best play maker in our time so not too much of a stretch.. In terms of rox prediction, you sold us short.. we will finish number in the league with around 64-66 wins..

how can you predict 12-14 assist.. you know, that no one has hit that number since John Stockton back in early 90's.. and rox have another guy in the team that led the league with more then 11 assist last season who has yet to reach his prime.

How do you not know if you were right or not??? Is Anderson and Ariza still on the team?

Never said it was. But I predicted Harden, EG & Capela's scoring average almost to a tee. I predicted we'd beat GS twice & that we'd win 60+ games while leading the league in scoring. Also predicted our defense would be the biggest difference in which it is.
Appreciate that!! At the time I made it most ppl here were upset we didn't get Melo. Something told me we'd better off without him & that CP would not only shine, but allow Harden to go back to being a complete scorer

your biggest difference prediction isn't exactly rockets science. what was the area of weakness addressed from last year to this year. it was pretty obvious defense. picking up tucker, moute, they were aiming for guys who are versatile defensively and are actually every night rotation players. The only people it wasn't to were guys who have no idea who they were. they specifically picked up those guys to match up with GS. out of all that id prolly just saying predicting +60 is probably worth a mention. I didn't have them that high. but everything else comes to no surprise to me.

Everybody knew PJ was a defender. But I don't remember too many ppl predicting Luc would have this much impact. Collectively, nobody predicted we'd be this good defensively. But I looked at Luc's youtube videos defending the best players like Durant, and also smaller guards like Lillard & WB, and already knew we'd got our Beverley replacement. The biggest difference i saw was that we'd have more versatility and be able to switch more (with Ariza, Luc & PJ). I never understood why everybody was so down on us not getting our 3rd star

luc's calling card has always been his defense. but teams have tried to give him a bigger role than he should really have. thats why his role on this team is perfect for him on a nightly basis. an occasional fill it but a very good guy to bring off the bench who is reliable. yes the versatility on defense is what they specifically addressed picking up these guys

I would say you were pretty damn close. I personally didn't have such high hopes for the Rockets back in october...

    CORRECT
My prediction is the Rockets will start off unstoppable for the 1st 30 or so games.
We will beat GS 2 or 3 times
Our offense will be a combination of Harden's scoring (will average 30+pts)
Eric Gordon (he will average 18-20pts this year).

    INCORRECT

Minor injuries, fatigue will occur, we'll even out towards the allstar break.
Morey will make a key pickup (???) at the break that'll boost our offense and make us more flexible at PF.
I don't expect Ariza or Anderson to be here after the break. My guess is we'll add more firepower offensively.
Luc mbah a moute will be the difference maker this year from last. (hey, he's great, but not THE difference maker from last year)
completely dominate OKC in the regular season
and CP3's assist (Harden has more assists, CP3s scoring seems almost more valuable)
Capela will average 15-17pts and up his ft% to 70+%
CP3 will lead the league with 12-14 assist this year.
I predict the Rockets will lead the NBA in points scored,
    forced turnovers (steals)
    fastbreak points this year.
    Prediction: Houston Rockets 60-62 wins

    4 from 16....
C',mon man, Bobby Brown is much better at 32% from the field on the season, but nobody is saying his shooting has been a raging success for us.

Lol u quote one guy twice.

And they are right. You’re prediction was off.
Not saying you were wrong but we will prob win more than 60 wins. And cp3 is having less assist.

We didn’t get any key additions that are boosting the team.
Ariza and Ryan are still here. We did get Green but that was before the brake. And Joe played well against the Mavs but hadn’t play well until then.

We’ve been hot all year we just had injuries around December.

We are just enjoying this season though so it’s all good.

Everyone liked Luc and we knew he would bring great defense. Some people even wanted or said he would be traded. Ariza has been great this season.
We got Luc, Pj and Ariza. They usually have one good night and off nights. So having them is great instead of just having 1 or 2.
