Forget about Manafort or Flynn flipping on Trump. Roger Stone flipping on him would be his worst nightmare. Nobody knows more about the shadows these guys play in than Stone.

I don’t think he’s at that stage now though and he’s someone that would rather die than giv into “the man”. Sounds like he’s still trying to use Nunberger who is a young foot soldier to his mentor to disrupt Mueller’s subpoena of his emails. Not sure he realized Nunberger would figure out on live TV that his ploy would needlessly put him in jail to protect Roger though, and he’d eventually crack ... on live tv.

Today’s sh$& show is a Roger Stone production. He’s been doing this stuff since Nixon. But doing his tricks during a campaign to the media is one thing. Messing with Robert Mueller is another. I think more and more in the coming days, Roger stone’s name will be in the news more and more.

I don't think Stone was expecting Nunberg to say Stone didn't do anything wrong and then admit that Stone may have lied to Mueller. Saying that sure, Stone might have lied isn't a good thing for Stone.

 

I don't think Stone would even consider flipping. He's super rich with powerful attorneys and he speaks directly with Trump. Trump is maybe afraid of telling minions "hey, just go to jail and I'll pardon you" because it's obstruction, but I don't doubt he would say that to Stone.

 

No I think Nunberg went off the rails but the talking points he recited and kept coming back to all spoke to a message that could benefit Stone. Which is getting Mueller to narrow his request of info of getting Nunberg to be his fall guy. Which is pretty low to someone he mentored but it’s Roger Stone we are talking about.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Roger takes to the airwaves today to clean it up a bit but it’s clear that he’s in the crosshairs and the guy is a master as media driven prolitical manipulation.

 

Nunberg and Stone may have zero to do with the Russian collusion/conspiracy, but Mueller will likely reel them in anyway.

I suspect that the Stone and Nunberg emails will be a treasure trove of planned but not realized conspiracies, possibly even with Wiki Leaks.

Hey Trump, sleep with the dogs (Manafort and Stone), don't be surprised about the fleas.

 

Let's not forget that Roger Stone was an adept practitioner of the concept of rat-****ing (political dirty tricks). There may be more to this Nunberg nuttiness than meets the eye.

This seems to be the first direct result we’ve seen of Flynn cooperating with Mueller.

Flynn was in this big meeting and likely provided what they needed to pull Nader here.

I also think we are months behind Mueller. I bet he’s been in Mueller’s crosshairs for some time. This meeting would potentially be more compromising than the Don Jr. meeting. There’s just no way money and favors were not exchanged in this meeting or coming out of it.
