Anderson needs to stop dunking. He is neither athletic or young. At this stage of his career, it will only invite injuries. I know our bench goes crazy when he stuffs the ball in, but he is too valuable as a deep 3-point threat and spacer.
Spacing is kind of f'd up without him... And then there's some missing interior help defense as well... Deniers are idiots.
And yet......I can still remember this one (maybe only?) dunk I saw Matt Bullard deliver. How long ago was that? He had a straight shot 3-pointer lined up. He dribbled it in and dunked it. Anderson can be guilty of the same thing: "Oh, yeah? 6'10' white boy who just shoots three-pointers? WATCH THIS!" Poor guy. Damned if he do, damned if he don't do. Hope he gets back soon.
We have the luxury of sitting guys with minor injuries. Frankly, no reason to overextend anyone if they are not absolutely and totally 100%, unless its JH and CP3 for big games/tough opponents (and that only because we need to win and hold on to the #1 seed).
Sit him for a whole week or two, Rockets can afford to have him get 100% healthy. No need to rush with this crazy depth.
He needs to rest. All our players can afford to do so periodically. I agree! Ryno needs to rest up. This is why we have this crazy depth. I'd love to watch green just dunk on someone.
Any updates on Anderson's injury?? Just heard from Sports MT 790am, he's going to miss the 1st game of the trip
Gotta love how, in typical Rockets fashion, there's been absolutely no update or timeline estimate provided for the Anderson injury. Same with Wright.
