if cavs look anything like this, then toronto will win. Cavaliers and Lebron are criminally overrated this year. At this point, people are just afraid to be sacrilegious and say lebron isn't the best player in the NBA this year. he's still top 3 but he's not the guy to single handedly carry a team to the finals this year IMO. we shall see
We've seen this before tho, Cavs suck for a while, then blow through the east. EDIT: they just decided to give the nets false hope before burying them.
Clutch free throws from LeBron, triple double, and the Cavs are on a one-game winning streak. They even beat a team that isn't tanking. MVP
Cavs still have the best player in any postseason series in the Eastern Conference, I think this is LeBron's last hurrah in getting to the finals before he either gets too old to carry the cavs/goes to the Lakers and loses to the Rockets/Warriors for the foreseeable future.
Yes, I know! Lebron is great, but let's not pretend like he hasn't won without help. Love is going to have to morph back into a superstar player Cavs have been trying to hide in the corner for years. There was a confidence in those Cavs teams because they knew the talent was enough that regular season wins didn't matter. I'm not sure that confidence is there this year. You see it in Lebron's post game comments.
When Love returns, he steps right in as the #2 guy. He thrives in that role. The problem is if he returns in mid-March, there may not be enough time time to fully integrate with his new teammates. One thing quite clear is the playoff Cavs will be worse than last year, maybe a lot worse. Can one EC team step up to the plate and not choke away the opportunity?
I'm terrified of Boban. This dude crushes the Rockets every time he plays.. Don't understand why he hasn't played more in Detroit.
Boban out here autographing basketballs and stopping for selfies.. who in the hell does he think he is?
