if we finish #1 the warriors will have to get passed the spurs to play us in the WCF. i think we finish off the wolves/thunder in 5 so it would be great if the spurs can take the warriors to 7 so we can rest while they get banged up.

I wonder if the rockets have what it takes when playoffs come to actually play up to Spurs w/ healthy Lenard. I know all this beating teams like nuggets and utah are fun, but we are not in the playoffs nor are we under the greg pop spot light. I want to see it done, and you think they could do it, but who knows. Heck the way they are playing you think they beat the 1998 bulls team.

The spurs play deadly when it counts. Hope rox can win this year, say if its the 2nd round again. If rox get the #1 seed whats that mean we play maybe the wolves? that seemed easy all year, but what happens if Karl Anthony towns and wiggins play different in the playoffs. You know team like wolves would like to shock people just to get in attention come playoff.

Spurs would have to go undefeated to grab the #1 seed.

I am not scared of any team and think we can beat anyone. That being said, it won't be easy and the Thunder and Spurs should be taken seriously. When healthy, Kawhi is one of the best 2 way players in the world. The Spurs will be a tough out.

No, we can't win if Kawhi plays. When he doesn't play, we will win for sure. Oh wait...

I'm game to wager $500 into the tip jar if the Spurs can beat the Rockets in the playoffs this season.

Are you willing to wager the same, young one, if Houston win and Kawhi is playing?

You can't win whether he plays or not. It doesn't matter. Your Mavs suck.!

Ok this may be the conspiracy homer in me, but Pop is relentlessly known for resting his players, he is also a very smart tactician and knows how to distract other teams.. Its very likely he could be thinking that Kwahi is not needed till near the post season so he is completely healthy and ready to go, he also may want to get Aldridge back in all star form. I think spurs are just pretending so Kwahi can get rested, Aldridge works back into his form, and spurs do this drama so other teams take them some what lightly. Now Pop may be forced to bring him back because he wants atleast that 3rd to 4th seed as he would want no part of rockets or warriors in the first round, he is one game out of getting warriors in the first round.

Yes it was mulitple sauces saying this today. was this on espn?:eek:

I agree with the gsw statement, and with paul gasol not being able to guard there 3pt line against curry etc.. But i don't really agree 100% they can beat houston. I mean it was scary last year, but this is a totally different team. I gonna say yes houston can beat them in 6 with this team. C Paul is a big factor here, and the way the team is playing now with chemistry. But its not gonna be a easy. o_O That why i don't know

I would feel confident but Ariza is still getting the most difficult matchups on the perimeter.

Luc Mbah a Moute is actually a known Kawhi-stopper, but if the great Bzdelik puts him on Danny Green, what's the point?

Otherwise, Rockets are better, more flexible, and have more mismatches. They should be able to beat them pretty comfortably.

SA is too big and slow to contain Chris Paul and Steph Curry. This has been the case since 2013.

It is sounding like Kawhi is working his way back onto the court. Instantly makes them the third best team in the West in my opinion.

As long as Ariza will be guarding Leonard for 35+ minutes per game, anything is possible.
