Rubio sucks. I don't want a guy who can't shoot in a offense predicated arpund shooting. Basketball 101

When we went down 44-29 in the second, I switched channels. Just til half time, I needed a break. Saw the halftime score pop up and we caught up within 5 so I turned it back on. Came out slow in the 3rd and I thought it was my fault so I turned it back off. Then when we caught back up I turned it back on... Luckily we kept it goin thanks to LMM in the 4th.

Well right, I remember the play. But by this:

"you're already up 10, I don't like all of the extra stuff. You don't need to do that"

He's just talking about Harden dribbling while they're half-court pressing him?

I think its more about Harden trying to bait the refs into calling a foul when he dribbled in front of Gobert's path and almost fell down dribbling. That upset Gobert.

I guess that makes sense, but the entire game was full of guys head-faking and flailing. I was really irritated by it in the 2nd quarter. Rudy was irritated by it in the 4th quarter. I guess it's all dependent on whose team is winning.

i mentioned it on twitter the refs were really bad last night for both teams, maybe if anything they were worse on the jazz. There were plenty of plays were guys were on the ground and hit and nothing was called. Tempers were rising as a result and it was surprised nothing happened between guys. I mean Paul had a hard screen set on him and complained so that the refs would take a look at the play after the play was completely over and the screen had little to do with ultimately happened with Tucker. There was nothing that was called either after review. I've never seen that happen before. The refs had no control of that game at all. It was pretty bad.

True, even Bull and Ackerman were saying the refs need to regain control. It was definitely out of character for a game this season. It reminded me of a game from about 10 years ago, something I also said in the midst of the game thread.

To be honest I didn't mind it from the perspective that if they had blown a whistle every time a guy hit the floor, there would've been 25 more fouls. But I'm shocked the Rockets were able to win a game that was pure Jazz basketball - a low-scoring physical slugfest; but to the Jazz's dismay, Harden was actually getting his fouls called.

36 teams have played the dreaded back to back in Denver/Utah or vice versa in the last 15 years.

Only 2 teams have came away victorious.

That dunk and spin vs the Nuggets really cost him.
