Or out for the season to preserve long term health

Seriously though, Butler should shut it down and begin his road to recovery...hopefully without surgery...

Butler sat out of the all star game for rest.

He’s probably going to go with his long term health.

 

Isn't this what Barkley had with us and he sat out awhile but then played through the pain?

 

If these are the only choices, it's clearly #3 because he has another near-max contract to sign in a year or two.
