So, stumbling upon a website looking for the story behind Nick Anderson's 50 point game there was an image of Shaq's crazy triple-double game in which he had 28 rebounds, 24 points & 15 blocks. Now he always uses this 28 (points) and 15 (rebounds) as a measure for a top center. I think he always claims it was a coach or someone telling him, but with all the nonsense he spouts, this could be made up and simply him remembering this stat line - subconsciously saying to himself and dreaming 28-15, 28-15, 28-15...even if it was not 28 points and 15 rebounds, just thought it was interesting. The biggest reason I think this measuring stick is made up because get this: the fool never averaged 28-15 in his whole career!!! He never even averaged 14 for that matter. Oh the irony...really wonder why not a single person at TNT has fact checked this and put him on the spot.

That year he had games where he had 37 14 and 8 blocks, 37 and 19, 38 and 20, 39 and 20, 39 and 18, 39 and 16, 40 and 19, 41 and 17, 49 and 13 and 61 pts and 23 rebs. And many other notable games. People forget his dominance.
