The Rockets will pursue LeBron, but he's not signing here if they're the defending champs. He'd look worse than Durant.

Of course you go after LBJ even you win it all (and let’s not get cocky just yet). It makes the Rockets better and keeps another team from getting better.

If he's healthy... some players never come back to what they were, and we should know that more than anyone.

Does anybody think that the recent reports that the league is seriously considering seeding the playoffs as 1-16 instead if top 8 in each conference is a way to clear a path for Lebron to go West? He could form his super team anywhere, hopefully Houston, and the league could still have his team in the Finals.

Everyone knows LeBron and Paul are best buds but it is pretty obvious that LeBron has little affection for Harden. It's one thing to purposefully not choose him for your team but the taunting at half time was pretty blatant.

Plus LeBron will not take a back seat to any player, he will not sublimate his ego or his game because it is Harden's team.

Not saying not to pursue Lebron but let's not act like the transition will be rainbows and candy canes like it was with CP3.

Still say Aaron Gordon should be Morey's option 1B this summer.

Didn't catch the ASG so I missed this. Is there a YouTube link somewhere showing this taunting?

Lebron is not stupid, he understands basketball so, he knows how great of a team he would play with if he comes here, he knows very well how good of a difference makers James and Chris are, they're two of the very few guys able to have the same impact as him on other players. He would also be able to rest more here since Harden and Paul are perfectly able to get the job done without him being force to play 40 minutes per game like he's still doing as today.

Naah- he's proven he can win it all before unlike Durant. Coming here to help us 3 peat would be epic for his legacy.

Thanks but it's hard to tell without any context what the hell that was about.

I still say LeBron to Rockets as Ryan Anderson's backup.

I wouldn't move any of our core guys either for Boogie coming off an Achilles tear

I don't honestly think he could drive down his "legacy" any more than when he went to the Heat. It's comical that the Cavs had a deal in place for PG13 (or Melo) because they weren't sure LeBron was going to resign with them long term. I'll be fine with LBJ signing or not signing with the Rockets. It won't automatically push us past the GSW, we'd still have to get everyone to play off the ball.

Right now you can still see Harden and Paul taking turns with the ball handling. If Paul resigns his next (last contract) with Houston, Harden will need to play off the ball a bit more and catch->shoot (Think Klay T-esque). It's true that we're the most effective when we put the ball in Harden's hands but having him spot up and shoot would put another fold in our offense that will help in the playoffs where the referees tend to enjoy not calling every foul committed (like they should all season long..).

I just don't see how it is financially feasible. CP3 would have to take a huge paycut. Lebron would have to opt in, and the Cavs would have to take on Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon, or find a 3rd team that wants them....

Unless Lebron's plan is to force a trade of Harden to Cleveland for himself....
