    An interesting side note... trump's own intelligence community and Department of Justice has now gone on record that their investigation has found and brought charges for Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Something trump continues to deny ever happened.

    Trying to spin this as not affecting the outcome of the election while also accepting that the meddling did in fact happen is just not possible. But, that's why Trump has been playing it off as a hoax all this time. He looks more illegitimate than ever.

    There are plenty of strict liability laws in this country, knowledge is not required to commit many crimes. Involvement is another question, it seems they were clearly involved, knowledge is the next thing to investigate. The election law crimes they can be charged with do require knowledge, so that needs to be proven. Something like the Trump Jr meeting satisfies that. But this release alone would not be impeachable without proving more, but I think that is still developing.
