Clint Capela has been improving Season by Season, I think he can win it especially if Draymond Green became a candidate after winning a Championship. I think Capela deserves one, he needs a Excellent Playoff Showcase. Win a Championship first just to show the National Audience and National Media, don't overlook me and Win them over.

Capela's defense is hit or miss. He's a very good weak side help defender, but his post interior defense isn't very good, and often struggle against bigger and stronger opponents. At the same time, Capela is quite agile for a big guy, so he can seamlessly switch onto the small guards and do a decent job on the perimeter.

Overall, Capela is quite nicely developing into a versatile defender, but not DPOY material, at least not yet.

His biggest improvement is his left handed blocks, he is going to improve even more. Zhou Qi wingspan is incredibly long, Mutombo like, Capela is 6'10,I think learning from Chris Paul and Brandon Wright is going to help him even more.

Right now Clint is tied with Dwight Howard ranking 10th in blocks per game, he's tied with the one and only Micheal Jeffery BeasGod ranking 14th in rebounds per game and he's ranked lower than James Harden in pde, so I'm gonna say he's not in the running for dpoy

Did you watch the Blazers game last night? Draymond is on another level.

If he was playing in the Olajuwon era he'd be BBQ chicken every night.

Clint will win MIP.....no chance to win DPOY. There are better choices.....Green is still on another level and until he's better then Green or Green goes missing, well.....

If anything, it should be Luc. Our worst defensive stats was when he was out. Insert him back in, and we number 1 in D again.

His shotblocking has improved a lot and he's a better rebounder now. But he ain't winning DPOY. He has a great shot at Most Improved Player though.

I think Clint has improved to being a plus defender. But if I'm ranking best defensive players on our team I'd put LMM ahead of him.

Hey buddy, your statistics is way off. You must be looking at the last night's numbers only, not for the season. For the season, Capela is ranked #6 in rebounding and tied for 5th in blocks.

    Clint is not winning DPOY!
I think KD will take it; he's getting a lot of appreciation for his plays on the defensive end.
PG and Butler will be thrown in the mix too

I don't see how MIP goes to anyone other than Victor Oladipo. His improvement across the board has been crazy, statistically, via eye test, and as a leader and contributor to his team.

The Pacers have a better record than OKC right now. Oladipo is an equivalent player to PG right now. It's insane to think about.

Imagine if as fans Harden was going to leave us, made it public, gave the team no leverage in a trade situation, a trade was made that was universally panned, and they key piece you got back, who everyone thought was way overpaid, turns out to be as good as Harden, younger, and leads the team to as good a record as you had and better than the multi-superstar team Harden went to.
