    Come on...we just destroyed UTAH

    the JAZZ!!

    OK, let me start...

The Rockets won unlike any other win this YEAR. No Mo' iso's or Cuttino ISO's the entire game. Cat showed up with some great passes....and if it wasn't a blow-out benching the stars early, they hit great numbers as always.

0-6 3's early and we still win the first quarter on ball movement, and increasingly better pnr's. Once the 3s started raining on the Jazz....game over.

This team played great ballmovement...with the least amount of ISOs of the years.

I was impressed w/ Ron Boone and Hot Rod Hundley... they said very nice things about the team's ball movement and Rod Boone concentrated on the fact that so many of the players could actually handle the ball on the floor and actually pass.

They went crazy for Walt, KT and Dream. After hearing Hot Rod call travelling on Dream a billion times, it was nice to see him pay the old man some respect.

The one weird thing was that Hot Rod said that (paraphrase) "earlier in the year Francis was more apt to look for the shot than the pass, and he's improved remarkably on that note". ??? Huh? I think perhaps he noticed that Steve's turnovers have gone down... but that's b/c the team and Steve have developed chemistry... not just b/c Steve has matured.

Achebe...i'd agree about Francis. The bbs early was complaining about Francis not shooting enough. He has started taking the open shot more. The comment you refer to must be understandable lack of watching Francis.

I guess the easy thing to say is that everyone's shot was falling, which is basically true. Steve leading the team in scoring with 18 tells you there was balanced scoring.

The more difficult analysis is why were the shots falling? How many more games would we have one this year if Walt hit his open shots like last night, Shandon hit his shots like last night and KT finished like he did last night?

BTW, for all the Cato bashing going on lately, I would like to say he has a nice stroke at the free throw line for a big man. [IMG]

Lastly, I think it was a good defensive effort all around. The Rockets could have missed a lot more shots and still won the game.

    RM95,

What difference does it make what time it was. If you can't tell time, you'll notice I posted my thread right after the game....you know, a game where we beat the Jazz by 28-points. And not one thread about it, because TheFreak wants to call Hakeem a Whiny b**** for his own amusement.

Coming online after a game like that and seeing a crappy title (as a JOKE!, no less) is just a real downer, because you know the night will be dominated by that thread.

At least the original discussions about Dream where in context at the time...showing some emotion/passion.

If anything, TheFreak's post was celebrating the fact that most of us were wrong, dead wrong. It is his fault that he didn't remember that 90% of the board wouldn't have gotten it.

hp--you kept the thread alive more than anyone. Blame yourself hotshot. And what is a rabid fan doing coming online after the game? Shouldn't you be waiting outside the locker room trying to sneak a peek into the shower or something? Why didn't you let the air out of the tires of the Jazz team bus instead of coming here? Some rabid fan you are. If you don't like joke threads getting all the attention after games, start an interesting one yourself. You don't own the board, dork.

The difference is that you posted What a useless way to be a fan by posting garbage sarcasm after a 28-pt blow-out of the ... . If you're going to criticize people, at least criticize something that they actually did.

If you can't tell time, you'll notice I posted my thread right after the game....you know, a game where we beat the Jazz by 28-points. And not one thread about it, because TheFreak wants to call Hakeem a Whiny b**** for his own amusement.

So, basically, you're whining because a topic you didn't like was the popular thread of the night? Wow.

there you go with more parody as yoru only means of arguing. And nice words there, too.

Maybe if you could find a belief, you could express yourself better. Show up with an argument, dude. Deconstructing another person's arguments is a very simple thing to do. Show me some basketball logic of yours. Show me some rabidness of yours. You may have it, but you don't show it, rather all I see is you looking to deconstruct others. Oh that's right, maybe I just don't understand sarcasm, or maybe I just don't understand sarcasm being someone's personality.

Where is your basketball personality. Oh? what? you can only express yourself through Deconstructionist logic. Stay in the Hangout forum then, if you aren't even going to mention your beliefs about players, the games, and trades; yet parody others

    ....like a lonely parrot.

If sarcasm is your personality, then enjoy wallowing in the well of other's wit, you parodistic pariah.

<font size="1">and btw: If Clutch would have allowed my Decontructing HTML Logic to go against your Deconstructing Social Logic, I do close down that thread in a glorious display of color and flash that would have spinned this BBS that "I don't own" around my finger...hotshot!

Deconstructing another person's arguments is a very simple thing to do.

Only when the other person's logic sucks.

Show me some basketball logic of yours. Show me some rabidness of yours. You may have it, but you don't show it,

Why? You're the one who's b****ing that other people are posting things you don't like and taking attention away from you and what you want to be discussing. This has nothing to do with basketball.

Stay in the Hangout forum then

If you don't like other people posting their own topics, maybe YOU need to pick another forum, instead of trying to change the forum to fit your personal desires?

Oh no, we're trolls now. Man, come on TheFreak and shanna, heypartner doesn't like us, let's go back over to the Hangout cause we have no basketball personality.

Jeez you arrogant ass. Don't you see you're the one that caused all this, you're stupid enough to start a whole new thread with the topic name in it, and then b**** about it being the main topic of the night.

Talk about wallowing in the well of other's wit, at least TheFreak can find his own arguments. shanna has to be led to them, only to show up with panting pantomimes of breathless persona.

Someone get Shanna another bowling ball; the first few missed.
