Go to the Vintage Park shopping center on Louetta (near 249). Recommend Peli Peli, Mia Bella, or El Tiempo. There’s also a Black Walnut Cafe next door, too.

There’s a Pappasito’s and Pappadeux on 1960. Or just go to James Coney Island (JCI) across the street.

 

Blue Water Seafood down the street. It's crawfish season.

 

My favorite place for a slice in the whole city is actually at the Sbarro at Willowbrook Mall.

They have a ton of restaurants near there tgif, olive garden, pappadeaux,pappasitos, all next to each other

Basically this. There is a decent country steakhouse on Beltway 8 near 249 called Steamboat House. Also in the Vintage there is a really great Brazilian Steakhouse called Gauchos Do Sol. I like Peli Peli too, its a little different. Comfort food with a South African flair.
