Bill mentioned that Mourning was playing TOMORROW night when in fact he is playing tonight. Then Calvin says: "Is that right?"

Nice job of keeping up with the league guys. You would think the fact that it was splashed all over the radio and tv today...awww, screw it...nevermind.

Those were my thought exactly when they said that. After we've been giving them all these props lately...

Yea, but you've got to admit they can keep any game entertaining. I found myself cracking up after Calvin sang happy birthday, and then Bill made a comment about hearing some dogs howling outside the arena. [IMG] They are really one of a kind announcing duo.

Calvin & Bill are as much a part of the Rockets organization as anyone else. To call them idiots is sheer proof that "it takes one to know one." Everyone makes mistakes, except for you, I guess. Drop dead, buddy.

How about Bill's reference to Oscar Robinson?

I believe that the Zo announcement was made sometime after 4pm CST. Chances are they were just a little bit busy getting ready for this game. And Bill said that Morning was playing tonight. Calvin is the one that had no idea.

Sithpooh, Calvin, and Bill, sitting in a tree...K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first comes.......oh, you get it.

Really though, who cares if they thought the game was tomorrow or wouldnt up to date. I think that reaction is better than the rest of the media. Wahoo! Zo's coming back....who cares, how does that pertain to the Rockets.

And, as luck would have it, the Heat lost.

I love listening to them, I think they are entertaining, but Bill did make 2 mistakes tonight when he said that Vaughn was from Utah and that Padgett was from Kansas. Since I am a KU fan, he insulted me twice. But again, this is the exception, not the rule. I still love to listen to them.

    Pooh,
And Cato is "as much a part of the Rockets organization" too. I don't see you slamming everyone about slamming him. Drop dead on this.

Mr. Old School: I am a Cato basher. He's a bonafide quitter. 'Nuff said. You should probably grow it first if I'm to drop dead on anything. This is pointless. Rockets fans need to stick together, but if you want a war of words, you'll get just that.

Did anyone hear Bill say "Cato almost lost his shorts on that one." Calvin responded by saying "No! I don't want to see what is under there."

Hehe. I like Bill and Calvin. They make me laugh.

btw, I heard that Calvin purposely cuts his hair to give him that wicked widow's peak because it makes and 'M' for Murphy. Anyone know if this is true?

I still really enjoy Bill and Calvin. I was reminded how great they when watching some college games and having to listen to Bill Walton drone on and on...I've gotta say Bill Walton is near the top of my list of annoying commentators...

today, Bill corrected it later when he said that Utah loves KU because of Manning, Vaughn and Ostertag. No mention of Padgett.

Bill and Calvin are the epitome of absolute genius and objectiveness compared to the bumbling, clueless and overly biased Bob Ortegel and Jim Durham of the Mavericks broadcast. Those two are my pick for the worst and most annoying courtside announcers on the face of the earth.
