What did the Cavs give up for George Hill?

True. But the thing is, they got younger and made a statement to LBJ. If Cleveland gets to the finals, with that youth, that might be enough to "entice" LBJ to stay. He doesn't leave unless he sees a dark cloud. LBJ just wants to see some light. They MAY have provided it. We'll see.

It's because we don't need to improve like the rest of the league. Other teams are looking up at us trying to play catch-up

Thx for the fast work, @justtxyank

For those of us wanting Joe Johnson, maybe take a short break from F-5 monitoring of Twitter to put Johnson, Rose and Crowder in the title.

[edit]oh, never mind. looks like the same trade is spanning three threads now. Hill, Hood and Shumpert. I should start a Joe Johnson one. Then someone can follow with a Derick Rose trade. Luz

He wants to win in Cleveland, but if they fail to make a big impression in the playoffs, he may still leave. Got to hand it to Gilbert, he is trying his best.

Courtesy of every NBA gm. Now if the Rockets were in the Cavs position? Expect no good deals. Cavs in that position? LETS BEND OVER EVERYONE!

I doubt if Utah would buyout Crowder, I would be happy if he joined the Rockets. Johnson after a buyout would be just okay, nothing special.

Only reason the Kings probably agreed to this trade was the cool $3 million dollars the Cavs are sending.

Must be nice being an owner.

They would have been screwed before these trades too. Whatever team he leaves goes down by twenty wins.

I think Nick Young's compelling argument sunk in.
Planning for a life after LeBron is stupid
You do any and everything to keep him

    Life after LeBron is obscurity

I still can't believe Cavs were able to overturn roster like this. Makes East interesting again

Celtics, Raptors, Cavs, 76ers, Pistons, etc

It'll be hilarious if Lebron leaves after this season. All these moves will ensure maximum pain for Dan Gilbert, a man Lebron clearly dislike/hate. According to one of the articles, Gilbert will end up paying $50 million in luxury tax penalties this year due to these moves and most of they just traded a bunch of expiring contracts for equally expensive long termones.

I think it's still a distinct possibility that he would leave. But Gilbert now has the upper hand in the media that he can say, "We tried. We made a historic number of moves, spent money, etc." If LeBron walks, he really loses.
