What if you’re not a rockets fan, would they put a different color?

And just following up, this causes an issue for Ryan Anderson, who will not be able to spot pedophiles. Another reason to trade him.

So let me see if I have this correct....

The OP is upset because of the lack of rotation players (11 deep as of my last count) being used.

Meanwhile, the 11 players currently being used in the rotation have delivered us a FRANCHISE BEST and LEAGUE LEADING start of 40-13...even with a spate of injuries occurring throughout the season.

    2 observations:

    1. Eleven players is...I believe...the deepest rotation of players I've seen used by a Rockets team in decades.

    2. You seem to think you know more about these players and what their bodies can withstand than the combined braintrust of D'antoni, Morey, Bzdelik, Rogers, Gunning, Lucas, Oppenheimer, Burleson, Keith Jones and his staff and team doctors....not to mention the players themselves.

    Why is that?

    It's called being prepared .

The scenarios I described are not outlandish.

The precaution I advocate for is not costly .

I know exactly what happened , you don't have to tell me , I watched the game .

I would like to dress more than 9 players ( 3 of them centers ) on the second half of a back to back .

Is my suggestion so unreasonable ?

You're getting worked up because I want us to call up a body when we have multiple players out .

Do you think that Troy Williams having this extra game of G- league experience is what will finally help him become an NBA player with value ?

I think it's more valuable To have him up here incase something goes wrong ... And that way we aren't forced into pushing one of our veterans too hard on a B2B

    You lack reading comprehension .

try and read the OP again .

you are missing the point entirely .

It's not about who played . It's about who was available to play .

We did not have 11 rotation players tonight . We played 8 ... That's OK .

We had 9 dressed . The other player dressed was tarick black .

What happens if one of the 6 forwards/ guards goes out ? We play with 5 ?

You are comfortable with 5 guys handling 4 spots on the second night of a back to back ?

What happens if we blow them out ?

My problem is that by not calling up a player , there was no scenario in which guys would not play heavy minutes .

    I don't like that on a B2B

I have much more respect for what the Rockets management team thinks they should do than some random internet posters (including myself) think they should do.

Also, your thread title implies that the Rockets have had this same problem (too few players available for any given game). How many times have they been caught "with their pants down"?

That's a cop out . You could make that same point about literally any complaint any fan has.

This is the second time in the last week. It happened in the harden 60 point game . Paul went down and Gordon was already out .

Doesn’t make my point any less true.

So...two times over the course of 53 games (in your opinion) and you are “tired of it”...OK..well, that’s that then

It doesn't make it less true , you are right .

But when You can say that in regards to literally any post on the Bbs that's questioning something .... It does take the intellectual rigor out of your response .

The front office always has more information than the fans . It doesn't always mean that they make the right decision .

What exactly is your game here ?

Do you believe the rockets can win a title ?

Yes....I very much believe the Rockets can win a title. I also believe that the front office and players will do everything they can to win a title. I firmly believe they will not intentionally do anything to hurt themselves in their attempt to win a title.

    I agree .

But I also think that not exercising caution can be unintended .

I'm with you snowcone. Having seen Harden and Ariza get ground down over the course of a season, I'm all for having more bodies available. If all goes well, we'll play anywhere from 16 to 28 more games this season - almost 1/3rd of a season beyond the 82 games.

    1) Just because it hasn't been a problem yet (this season) doesn't mean it won't be

    2) The team is doing great now but the ultimate goal is not "best record in february"

    3) D'Antoni won't expand his rotations but having bodies on the bench for in game injuries and foul trouble has NO downside
