Is LeBron a good spot up shooter? Yes, indeed he is, especially in this offense where he'd be getting open 3's for days. He's an elite 3pt shooter.

I like both of them, Lebron is still the better player without a doubt, but i'd take George cause he has basically the same age of Harden. I just don't see us getting him at this point, we would also 99% need to clear enough cap space cause i don't see Presti sign & trade him here lol.

    1. He shoots around league average from 3 on about 5 per game

    2. It's LeBron James, the best passing non-guard this side of Magic. Of course it will work.

    3. PG shoots spot up 3s, not off the dribble 3s. LeBron would probably play a lot more defense if he played 32 MPG instead of 38 MPG.

    4. The team would have Chris Paul, James Harden, and LeBron James, arguably the three best playmakers and passers of their position OF ALL TIME. Can you imagine the amount of efficient offense this would provide?

Simply put Ryno cost us a shot at George. If we have other contracts or the ability to move him, that trade may have been possible. You're right, that window is closed shut. If he was here, the Warriors would already be toast. That's the cost of an anchor.

But he contributed to our stellar year (even though he and others failed in the playoffs). So he contributed to cp3 coming here (cp3 would not have come after the Dwight fiasco season, just like Durant didn’t either). But a year made a tremendous difference, as did the system. He is now a stumbling block (and a big one), but without cp3 we wouldn’t even be in the picture for Lebron.

I can understand gauging interest but when we're all healthy, we are top contenders who can take it all. I think it's best to ride this roster into the post season - maybe pickup a buyout along the way if you can. Then reevaluate come summer.

    LOL durant's just a PU$$Y CP3 ain't like that
everyone knows dwights a cancer he ruined that year he ruins franchises that's a fact

Harden had a stellar MVP year and CP3 came to join him

Ryno had a solid stretch-4 year parking in the arc waiting gift-wrapped passes from harden and simply letting it fly

the rockets won 55 wins\3rd seed because of Harden and inspite the 2nd highest player was Ryno and not some superstar or at least star

that's what everyone and cp3 saw

You won’t meet a much bigger harden fan. My only point is that harden was there during the Dwight years and that was a shitstorm (thanks Dwight!). Ryan is valuable as a player and contributed to winning - but he is way overpaid right now. But the space that not just harden but everyone else has when you have shooters 4 feet past the three point line is a benefit. Again, way overpaid and a stumbling block now but his shooting or even the threat is valuable. He fits the system. Just maybe at $8-10mm only.

you make it sound like that there's this rare and mythological space which improved everyone

remember dwight years? when dwight was out injured half of the time? we won 57

harden player's mvp was it because of space provided by dmo, tjones, and jsmith? if yes then that space isn't that rare afterall

if no then it's not about the space but the gravity of harden

Ryan is valuable as a player and contributed to winning? we could say the same thing last year for every other starter pbev, ariza, capela and moreso ego

if we had horford as 2nd highest paid player we would have won close to 60 games last year and faced gsw in the PO's

its about saying cp3's here because of ryno.. when cp3 got here what did morey 1st do? trade ryno for melo

last year he was a contributor this year he's a detriment

Hopefully an advantage to possibly selling Anderson to another team would be to compare his home vs. away stats. He won't be playing in Toyota Center anymore so he will be inclined to have more good games than bad ones. If it was me and I could get road ryno's production every game, I wouldn't trade him.

I’m guessing there is a 75% chance he stays. The trade market looks lean.

A couple of Weeks ago the Suns played Devin Booker at point and the coach said they were mimicking James Harden. Saying he had success.. Maybe they will take on Ryan Anderson to surround booker with shooters.

If ship Ryno out in a second if it makes the team better and I recognize his contract is hurting us. It doesn’t mean that he didn’t help us last year (so did the others obviously). But I recognize the fact that he is a valuable player and contributes to winning, just not a that price. It doesn’t mean (except for the recent month long bad stretch which he seems to be coming out of now) that he doesn’t help win games. Of course harden is the primary reason cp3 came. But the year before harden was also in the team and Kd didn’t even give us an interview. ryno did his part (in the reg season) as did everyone else. I can accept the fact that he doesn’t suck and is good for our system from the fact that his contract sucks and is currently an impediment to getting Lebron. I think we’re mostly in agreement frankly.

PG will want max this summer, but Lebron won't want max if he comes to play for us.

Rockets could easily get rid of Anderson if they included two 1st rd picks, but Morey won't include that.
