    Had been out there for awhile that he'd officially accept when the Patriots season was over; Colts made it official today and now isn't going.

    Amazing and I love that it happened to the Colts, but also think it's ridiculous and shameful of him to verbally agree and then back out like this.

    Maybe he found out something last minute about Luck’s injury. If he went to the colts and failed as a HC again he might not ever get another shot at it.

    There was something negative about Luck's injury or Belichick has an expiration date.

    Total bush league move by McDaniels, who has damaged himself. I think he is the Pats next coach when Belichick hangs it up.

    Ya think you still go even if something was up with Luck. HC in waiting seems more like it. Belichick and Brady can't lose both coordinators if they want to make another run IMO.

    That's pretty crazy.

    Do the Colts still go with a non-QB player, for its 3rd overall pick?

    Or do they go for whomever the Browns (and Giants) don't take?
