I would literally give away Anderson for nothing, really. He is worth more off the books next season than on the court this season.
Hot takes everyone, hot takes. Dude sucks. But has shown flashes in the road trip. Dumping him actually makes us worse. So no.
Anderson, T. Williams, 3rd team 2nd to Atlanta Ilyasova and Plumlee and ATL 2nd to Houston Belinelli to 3rd team Plumlee, Gordon, 2 1sts and ATL 2nd to Cleveland for an opted in Lebron in May.
I don't know. Dude was brought in to spread the floor. He has gone through a cold streak no doubt. But for the last month he has shot just under 39% from the 3 which is an eFG% of 58% and over the last 10 games just over 41% from the 3 and an eFG% of 62%. Can we ask/expect more from him? Disregard the 20 million for now. His job was to be a target to get the ball out to if the defense collapses and for a month 58% of the time he has provided us 2 points from that relief valve position. Do I think his contract is an anvil hanging around the rockets neck?? Yes. But at this point I think he is doing his job. Oh and BTW. Only PJ Tucker has played in more games this season than Ryno. No other starter has been as available as Ryno nor has EGO or NENE. So...my 2 cents.
I love Bill but his time has come. He needs to retire and we need to replace the broadcasting crew with younger ex-Rockets players.
Yes to trade by this deadline (Thursday) Two future 1st round picks Three future 2nd round picks Plus players (starters or non rotational players or mixed) Morey can’t risk Ryan Anderson getting injured playing the rest of the season or while busting his tail in the playoffs.
Where? That's the only question. This board pretty much has a consensus on moving him. He is unmovable because of his price tag. Had he been making half of what it is now, it would be a different situation. Don't get me wrong. I still think he has a value for what he can do, but just not at that price tag. At this point, since he is overpaid, he can only be moved with other assets on the team or taking backing bad contracts. Either way is not attractive. So we are stuck and Stuck we are, just feed him juices and treat him like an X factor (LOL 20M for an X factor SHM).
It's not worth giving up an asset to unload Anderson who plays an important role at a positions of need. He's not going anywhere unless LeBron wants to come to H-Town.
Thank you for creating a thread about my favorite topic in the world...The Rockets! I vote to keep...unless we get Bron. Any other options are unrealistic or a down grade.
